Environmental sound control has become absolutely necessary in what can sometimes be a complex environment where we work, live or play. Monoglass insulation is non-combustible and outperforms older, less efficient coating methods without increasing construction costs. In addition, monoglass insulation is applied pneumatically, sealing cracks and holes in drywall, filling gaps normally left by batt insulation, and sealing around plumbing and electrical outlets to prevent sound leaks.
The low-resistance fiberglass in monoglass insulation produces higher noise reduction values than many other insulation. This feature reduces airborne sound transmitted through the structure from external sources and perfectly absorbs internal airborne sound.
